Dealing with the Angostura Shortage, part 2

Still no Angostura? Well, we are looking over our shoulder towards Trinidad and...shrugging.

I have had a few new batches of bitters working for a few months and I unleashed them today. Rather than all kinds of new cocktails, we are hoping to broaden horizons by showing that Manhattans do not necessarily require Angostura. I personally am fighting the urge to line up Manhattan flight of all 5 for myself.

Good to see positive outcomes from the Angostura shortage!

There are bars here who have started or ramped out housemade bitters and others considering it given the shortage.

I was forced to go to a Wal-Mart on my last trip to Tahoe, but I scored a few bottles for my personal consumption. I suppose I ought to buy out the supply and bring them to the City?
